For over 40 years the Oregon Natural Market has been selling high quality nutritional supplements and foods in the Eastern Oregon/Southwest Idaho area. With a “handshake and a smile” Doug and Kenon Chase (Chase’s Health Foods, Boise, ID.) purchased the Market in 1971 from Lloyd Kerns. At the time, the market was located across from the Red Apple grocery store where it remained for the next 31 years. In 1996, Michael Chase (third generation) incorporated the market and began to oversee its daily operations. Today, with over 20 years of combined experience, Michael and Emily continue the family tradition of bringing honesty, integrity, and quality to natural products retailing. |

Michael Chase
-- Michael was born and raised in Boise, ID and graduated from Boise High School. He received a B.S. in clinical psychology from Willamette University. He is currently completing a M.S. degree in nutrition science from the University of Bridgeport. Michael plans to practice as a Clinical Nutritionist and further his education in phytopharmacology. Michael has over 20 years of experience working with herbs, vitamins, minerals, nutritional formulas, and homeopathic remedies.

Emily Heinz-Chase
-- Emily started working for the Oregon Natural Market in 2001. Emily credits the Oregon Natural Market for helping her understand the importance of integrating natural products with ones lifestyle. In 2004 Emily graduated from Albertson College of Idaho where she received her B.A. in Business and Music. Emily is in charge of ordering and coordinating sales for grocery items and health and beauty products.

Timmie Jackson
-- Timmie was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. In September 2004 she relocated to Weiser, ID where she searched high and low for a health food store. In February 2005 she began a long-term working relationship with the Oregon Natural Market. Timmie has completed Foundations of Herbalism. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Health through Clayton College of Natural Health. Timmie is working towards certification as a Traditional Naturopath.
